Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati today attacked BJP's PM candidate Narendra Modi of twisting comments  to play the backward caste card. "A desperate Modi is resorting to cheap tactics," she said.

Mocking Modi, she dared him to reveal the caste he belongs to. "The way Modi behaves it does not seem that he is from the backward class. What has the BJP done for the backward class," she asked.

Priyanka Gandhi's 'low-level politics' barb targeting Narendra Modi sparked bitter exchanges on Tuesday between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party in which he played the caste card while her party accused him of deliberately misinterpreting facts and called him a "spin master"

She also said that she was surprised the Congress has not take Modi head on.
