Militants open fire in Assam's Kokrajhar, 7 killed

Seven civilians were killed after suspected militants of outlawed underground outfit National Democratic Front of Bodoland opened fire in Assam's Kokrajhar district late Thursday night, a report said on Friday.

The incident took place at Balapara in Kokrajhar district.

The Army and police have launched a massive combing operation to flush out the militants.
