Just in: India abstains on resolution for probe into Sri Lanka war crimes. The draft resolution calls for the United Nations human rights office to monitor Sri Lanka and "undertake a comprehensive investigation into alleged serious violations of human rights and related crimes by both parties."

The resolution sought an international probe against Sri Lanka.
