LIVE! Dhoni guilty in IPL spot-fixing case: SC lawyer Harish Salve
March 27, 2014  13:07
Harish Salve, counsel of the petitioner, says India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is guilty of corrupt conduct and gave false statement to the Commission.

Salve said, "Dhoni is an employee of India Cements and that leads to a conflict of interest."

Sundar Raman, who runs the IPL, is also an employee of Indian Cements. Salve has been arguing for more than an hour and he is drawing the attention of the SC towards the conflicts of interest prevalent in the BCCI at large.

Salve basically pointed to Dhoni deposition before the Mudgal Commission in which he said that Gurunath Meiyappan was not the team principal/owner... but just an enthusiast.
