Just in: There's been a lathicharge at Narendra Modi's rally in Gaya, Bihar. BJP supporters entered the media enclosure prompting the police to resort to a lathicharge. Police have restored law and order but the mood still seems ugly as the crowd continues to hurl footwear at the police and the media.

Shoes, bottles and stones were hurled at the police. The commotion continued till Modi started addressing the crowd, which then started cheering.
