Action against Jaswant? Rajnath Singh remains mum

When asked about the open defiance by party veteran Jaswant Singh, who has filed his nomination as an independent candidate from Barmer, BJP chief Rajnath Singh reacted cautiously.

Singh said, "We still consider Jaswant a member of the BJP family and we will wait till the last day of the withdrawal of nomination".

He evaded questions on whether the BJP was planning to take action against Jaswant.
