Akhilesh 'missing' opportunity to contest LS polls

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today regretted "missing" the opportunity of contesting the Lok Sabha polls. "Kab Lok Sabha ja payengey pata nahi. Ye mauka to chook gaya (I don't know when I will reach Lok Sabha. I have missed the opportunity this time)," Yadav said.

He was talking to media at a function where BSP MP Surendra Nagar joined the ruling Samajwadi Party along with his supporters. Taking potshots at the BJP, Yadav said its graph was coming down very fast as the polling dates were coming near.

"They started with Gujarat development model but they started following communal agenda," he said.
