Pranab gets legal help on formation of state govts

President Pranab Mukherjee has co-opted the services of T K Viswanathan as a consultant - on a contractual basis. Viswanathan, former secretary general of the Lok Sabha, has been asked to assist and render legal advice to the president on constitutionality and the formation of state government. Viswanathan will also collate and compile judgements of the Supreme Court on minority governments.
