Jaswant Singh files his nomination papers as an independent candidate

So, BJP senior leader Jaswant Singh has filed his nomination papers from Barmer as an Independent candidate.

A sulking Singh on Sunday dared his party and said that he is "not a piece of furniture" to be "adjusted" after polls. He has warned that the party will have to suffer the consequences of internal strife coming to the fore ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

Singh will be up against BJP candidate Col (retd) Sona Ram Chaudhary, who defected from the Congress recently.
