Yesterday, Shatrughan Sinha, a known Advani loyalist, thanked the BJP for honouring his wish to contest the poll from his native Patna Saheb instead of Delhi, and said now onwards, his only aim was to make "action hero" Narendra Modi Prime Minister.

"I was asked about fighting Lok Sabha election from Delhi but I told the leadership that native Patna Saheb is my first, second and last choice," Sinha said.

Sinha, a disciple of veteran BJP leader L K Advani and who has in the past triggered controversy by opposing Narendra Modi as the party's prime ministerial candidate, said he would like all old controversies to die down.

"Now onwards my only aim like mythical Arjuna who focused only on the eyes of moving fish is to make action hero (Narendra Modi) Prime Minister of the country," he said.
