LIVE! Jaswant's ultimatum to BJP: Barmer ticket or I contest as Independent

BJP senior leader Jaswant Singh, who is an MP from Darjeeling, wants to contest from Barmer in Rajashtan. Singh, who has been a defence minister and the external affairs minister in the NDA government, has given an ultimatum to the party that either he be allowed to contest from Barmer, or he will run as an Independent.

Rajasthan Chief Minster Vasundhara Raje Scindia is seeking a ticket for Colonel Sona Ram from Barmer. Jaswant Singh, who has been contesting from the Darjeeling seat, had said that he will not contest from the Darjeeling seat anymore but from his native town Barmer.
