Former SP leader Jaya Prada, who recently joined Ajit Singh's Rashtriya Lok Dal will be contesting from Bijnore. An RLD says that Jaya Prada is closer to Ajit Singh than Amar Singh. In Bijnore, we are told, many of Jaya Prada's old Hindi films are now being screened in theatres and also on the local cable network, in contravention of the election code of conduct. The RLD has got eight seats in Uttar Pradesh under a seat-sharing alliance with the Congress.
