LIVE! Candidate crisis in Cong: Senior Cong leaders refuse to contest

The Congress seems to be facing a crisis of candidates. Early reports say Sachin Pilot, Jayanthi Natarajan, P Chidambaram , Manish Tiwari are not keen to contest the polls. It seems Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has asked senior leaders to contest, but most of them are reluctant and some have categorically refused.

Chidambaram wants his son Karthi to contest from Sivaganga constiutency in Tamil Nadu. Sachin Pilot's seat is being considered for Azharuddin.
