With a little help from the Navy, Jayalalithaa campaigns for LS polls

A correspondent from Delhi reports: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has been campaigning for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls on a daily basis.

Every day, she travels to the campaign site by a helicopter that takes off and lands at the Adayar naval base in Chennai.

Incidentally, Defence Minister A K Antony had issued a blanket permission to the Southern Naval Command to facilitate the helicopter rides of Jayalalithaa, an outspoken critic of the UPA government.
