5 bodies recovered, death toll may go up to 20

The encounter is still on. Early reports say the deaths occurred as a result of an IED blast followed by firing. The attack took place at around 10.30 am. So far, five bodies have been recovered, but police say the toll could go up to 20.

Reports said that the Maoists ambushed a convoy of 50 CRPF men who were providing security to road construction workers.
