BJP will win highest-ever number of seats: Advani

Senior BJP leader L K Advani today claimed that his party would win the highest-ever number of seats in the Lok Sabha elections, pushing the Congress to its all-time low.

"I have seen all elections since 1951-52. And based on the experience and the present political atmosphere, the BJP will get maximum seats this time," the former deputy prime minister said.

The BJP had got maximum 182 seats in 1998 and 1999, Advani said, adding that this time the party would get more than that.
