Over 25,000 students were wrongly failed in exams conducted by Mumbai University (MU) over the past year-and-a-half, according to information obtained under an RTI application. Further, the RTI reply reveals that the Mumbai University examinations department has said details of action taken against the erring professors/examiners cannot be revealed since it is confidential.
