Charges of sedition against Kashmiri students dropped

Uttar Pradesh police have dropped charges of sedition against the Kashmiri students who had cheered for the Pakistan cricket team during a match against India on Sunday, according to media reports.

The students of a private university in Meerut had been expelled and booked under sedition charges for supporting the Pakistan team.
