Sahara Chief Subrata Roy has been taken to the Supreme Court. Roy was arrested on Friday after failing to appear at a Supreme Court hearing - which he says he missed to attend to his ailing mother - related to a Rs 24,000 crore Sahara investment scheme that was later ruled to be illegal.

Roy was taken to Delhi in a Mercedes accompanied by a posse of escort vehicles, yesterday.
