Live! Geetika Sharma suicide case: Gopal Kanda gets bail

Former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda gets bail on a personal bond of Rs 5 lakh and a surety of Rs 2 lakh. Kanda is an accused in the airhostess Geetika Sharma suicide case. The police, during the argument, opposed the bail plea of Kanda saying he may influence the witnesses and tamper with the evidence.

Kanda has been in jail for the last 18 months and the probe into the case has also been completed. Kanda had surrendered before the police on August 18, 2012 while Aruna Chadha, Kanda's employee and co-accused in the case, was arrested on August 8, 2012.
