Centre summons Andhra governor to Delhi

The Centre has summoned Andhra Pradesh governor ESL Narasimhan to New Delhi tomorrow to discuss the conduct of the Lok Sabha polls and to get first-hand information of the law and order situation in the state.

Governor Narasimhan is expected to make a courtesy call to President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Union Minsters AK Antony, P Chidambaram and Sushilkumar Shinde. The governor will also have a one-one-one with UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi

National Security Advisor Shiv Shankar Menon has said that there be violence in the Telangana region, which the centre is keen to resolve. Menon stated this on board the Air India One on his way to Myanmar

Shinde is believed to be upset with Menon's  remarks.
