General V K Singh to sue Union home minister

Former army chief General V K Singh seems to have a penchant for staying in the news.

The controversial General has now decided to sue Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde for defamation.

General Singh has alleged that Shinde did nothing to dispel reports about an alleged troops movement towards Delhi in 2012, and took no action against those responsible for the damaging accusations.

Shinde's silence proved his complicity with those responsible for the report, the General has claimed.
