Chennai Building Collapse: Death toll rises to 14

Two days after an under-construction building collapsed in Chennai, the death toll has climbed to 14 while 40 people are still trapped under the debris. Six people including the builder have been arrested.

More than 40 hours after the 11-storey under construction building collapsed in the outskirts of Chennai, rescue operations are still underway.

At least 400 experts are on the ground and 10 teams from the National Disaster Response Force, along with the Chennai Police and the Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services are working around the clock to remove debris and rescue the survivors.
