June 27, 2014  08:52
Students at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University are claiming they are being forced to fill forms in Hindi. The non-Hindi speaking students alleged they were being asked to fill mess forms in Hindi. However, the University said it was a non-issue as they had run out of English forms. The controversy erupts after the government had to clarify that the directive of asking ministers to promote Hindi on social media was not mandatory on all states, especially non-Hindi speaking states.
