N Srinivasan becomes ICC chief

N Srinivasan is the new Chairman of the International Cricket Council. Srinivasan, who was nominated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India for the top position, will assume charge following the conclusion of the ICC Annual Conference week. Srinivasan said it was an honour to become ICC chairman and promised that the ICC will continue to play a leading role in the promotion and development of the game.
