PM to meet President every second Thursday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi quietly drove down to Rashtrapati Bhavan recently to discuss certain crucial issues with President Pranab Mukherjee, something which escaped the attention of our ubiquitous television news channels.

Incidentally, the prime minister has conveyed to the President that he has fixed Wednesdays for the Union Cabinet meeting, and sought his permission to fix alternate Thursdays for their meetings.
