Iraqi Ambassador contradicts MEA
June 24, 2014  08:22
Even as Indians continue to be stranded in violence-hit Iraq, the Iraqi Ambassador, Ahmad Tahseen, has said his government does not know if the 39 missing Indians in Mosul have been abducted. "We cannot say if they are captured. We know they are alive but not sure which locations in Mosul are they in," Tahseen said to CNN-IBN. His statement is a complete contradiction of the Ministry of External Affairs who had said that 40 Indians had been captured in Mosul.
