Top Lashkar commander killed in encounter

A top commander of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba was killed in an encounter in Sopore town of Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district on Monday. The encounter began when a joint team of the Army and Kashmir police cordoned off Krankshavan colony around 5.15 pm on Sunday. Gunfire continued through the night and officials said that a security personnel was also injured in the attack.
