Delhi sweats it out on humid morning

Delhiites today woke up to a warm morning with humidity in air touching 56 per cent as the city braced for another sultry day. The maximum temperature may cross the 41 degrees Celsius mark today, the weatherman has said.

The minimum temperature this morning was at 31 degrees, three notches above normal, and the MeT office predicted partly cloudy skies with the likelihood of thunderstorm in some areas in the course of the day.

No rainfall was recorded till 8.30 am.
