LIVE! MEA: No safety in captivity, location of abducted Indians can't be revealed

MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin briefing the media on the developments in Iraq. He says envoy Suresh Reddy has reached Iraq. "There is no safety in captivity," says Akbaruddin on a question on whether the abducted Indians were safe. "We do have an understanding of the location, but we cannot reveal it," he says.
He says the Indian embassy in Iraq is following up with the authorities there. The Iraq government has also confirmed that the Indians were abducted, he says.
