LIVE! I resigned three days ago, admits NDMA's vice chief Shashidhar Reddy

NDMA Vice Chairman M Shashidhar Reddy has put in his papers. Reddy said he resigned on his own and added that the PM should have the prerogative to build his own team. All members of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), appointed by the previous UPA government, have been asked to resign. Reddy confirmed that the home secretary has asked other members to resign as well. Five members have already quit he said and added that he had submitted his resignation three days ago.
