Just in: The railway budget is likely to be announced on July 9 and the general budget on July 11. The railway ministry is considering to propose a hike in passenger fares in the Rail Budget 2014-15 slated to be presented by Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda. The budget session of Parliament is likely to be be held from July 7 to July 25.
