Work comes the way of MoSes after PM's diktat

The new Union ministers of state are a happy lot.

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi's diktat to Cabinet ministers to allocate more responsibilities to their juniors, they find that work has indeed come their way -- unlike during the UPA regime, when there were complaints that junior ministers did not get any work except signing files of written answers to Parliament questions.

Now senior ministers like Rajnath Singh, Sushma swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Nitin Gadkari are learnt to have entrusted 75 per cent of their workload to their juniors.

The happiest is said to be Nirmala Sitharaman and Kiren Rijiju, both MoS under Jaitley and Rajnath Singh respectively.

"We learn from our seniors, of course they do not behave like headmasters,' commented one junior minister.
