CBI takes over probe in Badaun rape case

The Central Bureau of Investigation has take over the probe in the Badaun gang rape and murder case. The CBI has registered an FIR in the case. A 20-member team to visit Badaun to further investigate the incident.

Two teenaged girls, who were cousins aged 14 and 15 years, were allegedly gangraped and murdered with their bodies found hanging from a mango tree, a day after they went missing on May 27, in a village in Ushait area in Badaun.
