UP BJP leader shot dead in Muzzafarnagar

A Bharatiya Janata Party leader Omveer was shot dead in Meerpur village near Muzzafarnagar.

The 40-year-old was walking towards his farm from his home when he was shot at. He reportedly returned fire with his revolver before dying on the spot.

Omvir, 40, was the deputy leader of the BJP in the town of Mirapur.

On Saturday, BJP leader Vijay Pandit was shot dead in Greater Noida.
