Massive fire breaks out in Pahalgam

A massive fire has broken out in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, engulfing a major part of a market. No casualties have been reported yet, says NDTV. Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah tweeted, "Fire has broken out in Pahalgam & has engulfed the Tourist Reception Centre & Hotel Poornima. I've been told both buildings evacuated."

In another tweet, he added, "Fire brigade on the scene but strong winds have increased the risk of the fire spreading. The situation is being monitored & tackled."
