Aaditya Thackeray's birthday appeal: No hoardings, no food please

Aaditya Thackeray, chief of Yuva Sena and heir apparent in the Shiv Sena, has appealed to party workers ahead of his birthday this week, not to put up banners wishing him or distribute food.

'To me birthday wishes are personal, I will be home from 10 am to 6 pm to accept your love and blessings,' he has said. 'Also, please do not distribute any kind of food (sweets, fruits or anything else). However noble the intentions might be and the thought behind it, food poisoning is something that can happen to anyone, especially during the monsoons.'

Now to see if the Shiv Sainiks actually obey his appeal.
