Chandrababu Naidu takes oath as Andhra Pradesh CM

TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has taken oath as the first chief minister of new Andhra Pradesh following the bifurcation of Telangana. His oath was administred by Governor E Narasimhan.

The grand event is being held at the Nagarjuna University between Vijayawada and Guntur, where lakhs of supporters and also dignitaries including Home Minister Rajnath Singh and senior BJP leaders L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, film stars as well members of the NTR family.

Naidu has decided to induct only 19 cabinet ministers on Sunday.
