Will MJ Akbar get Rajya Sabha seat from MP?

Four names are under consideration for the Rajya Sabha seat from Madhya Pradesh vacated by Kaptan Singh Solanki, who has been appointed as the governor of Haryana.

The names in contention are that of former leading journalist and now BJP spokesperson M J Akbar, Dr Subramanian Swamy, Arun Shourie and Yashwant Sinha.
