Jadeja fined 50% of match fee for spat with Anderson

Ravindra Jadeja has been found guilty of a Level 1 breach of the ICC code of conduct and has been fined 50% of the match fee for a spat with England's James Anderson on the second day of the Trent Bridge Test, according to an ICC media release.

Jadeja was found guilty under Article 2.1.8, that relates to conduct contrary to the spirit of the game by David Boon of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees.

A detailed judgement will be pronounced within the next 48 hours.

Boon found him not guilty of the original Level 2 charge brought against him by England team manager Phil Neale after the spat that occured when the teams were going off the field at lunch but felt his conduct was contrary to the spirit of the game
