In Parliament today, Anand Sharma, Deputy Leader of the Congress in the Rajya Sabha, suddenly stood up and raised a point of order that there was no union cabinet minister present in the Treasury benches and the proceedings should be adjourned till they return.

PJ Kurien, Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha quipped that Tara Chand Gehlot is a Union Minister and asked Sharma if he could recognise him.

Some BJP MPs from the back benches stated that the Congress is still in denial mood, unable to to digest that they have lost power.
