Shiv Sena MPs meet in Parliament over the Maharashtra Sadan issue after a huge uproar by the opposition over the issue. The Lok Sabha Speaker has said the issue would be taken up during Zero Hour.

Eleven Sena MPs forced a Muslim staff member at Maharashtra Sadan to break his Ramzan fast. According to sources, the Sena leaders were unhappy that they were not being served Maharashtrian food and then forced the caterer to eat the food he had cooked.

Following the incident, IRCTC, which provides the catering, has written to the officials seeking that action be taken.

Maharashtra Sadan has already apologised to the official for the abuse. Sanjay Raut, Sena MP, has however, rubbished the claims, saying the allegations are baseless.
