Why treasury benches are seeing almost 100 pc attendance

The fear of Narendra Modi seems evident in almost in all the 280 Lok Sabha MPs. This is evident from the full house of Treasury benches during question hour. It was Modi who asked the 154 first timers in the BJP to participate in the Lok Sabha proceedings without absence -- otherwise severe action would be taken against the erring MPs. The MPs were told this on the first day of the session.

One senior BJP MP was heard saying that Narendra Modi has implemented the Gujarat model of Assembly proceedings where 100 per cent attendance used to be there when he was chief minister for 13 years. But in the UPA regime, even after Sonia Gandhi and Dr Manmohan Singh's dictats, most of the MPs and even Union Ministers used to skip Parliament.
