Why the Goa CM is unhappy

Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parikkar is upset with the Centre for appointing Margaret Alva as the governor of Goa. Reason is that as leader of Opposition Parrikar had made various corruption allegations against Alva in the State Assembly.

But now he has been compelled to be present at her swearing-in ceremony. Parrikar was also expecting an invitation from Modi to join the Union Cabinet as Defence or Home Minister.

It is Parrikar who commented that LK Advani was like a rancid pickle and thereby had clearly stated where his loyalties lay. So, will the Goa CM be adjusted in the ensuing reshuffle of the Union Cabinet in October 2014? Wait and watch.
