CBI yet to exhume Badaun victims' bodies

The Badaun rape probe hit a hurdle again on Sunday, with the Central Bureau of Investigation failing to exhume the bodies of two sisters, who were allegedly raped and murdered in the Uttar Pradesh's district, for the second consecutive day. The water level has been rising due to incessant rains due to which the procedure to exhume the bodies had to be suspended on Saturday. The graves of the minors are submerged under the gushing waters from a swollen Ganga, which flows adjacent to it. "We will wait for the water to recede... It may take months," said one of the doctors who is part of the forensic team constituted by the CBI.
