One fireman killed, six injured as blaze in Andheri building reignites

Just in: One firemen has died, while six others are seriously injured in the Lotus Business Centre fire. The fire which had been doused was reignited by strong winds, which trapped the firemen who had gone in for a cleanup. A Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) official said that around 15-20 fire fighters were stuck on the terrace of Lotus Business Park on Andheri Link road. Dramatic video footages showed Navy and Coast Guard helicopters lowering ropes on the rooftop to help the stranded firemen clamber up to safety from their perilous perch.
