Rajnath on Delhi govt formation: BJP has never done horsetrading

Home Minister Rajnath Singh's statement on govt formation in Delhi. Singh said today that the BJP has never done any horsetrading nor will it do in future.

The BJP on Wednesday indicated that it may take a shot at government formation in Delhi if invited by Lt governor Najeeb Jung. Sources said in case BJP decides to form government, senior leader and former finance minister Jagdish Mukhi could be a strong contender for the chief minister's post.

The Aam Aadmi Party has accused the BJP of trying to "buy" its MLAs and engaging in horse-trading. AAP leader Ashutosh on Wednesday said the way the BJP is shamelessly indulging in horse-trading to lure MLAs to form a government in Delhi is a blot on democracy.
