Mulayam tells Cong: 'Enjoyed power a lot, now agitate'

"You have enjoyed power a lot. Now you agitate on the streets." This was the terse advice of Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav to Congress in the Lok Sabha today. Incidentally, SP was a key outside supporter of Congress for ten long years when it was in power in UPA-I and UPA-II.

Congress has now the lowest ever tally of 44 in the 543-member House. The angry remark by Yadav came when he was asked by Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to resume the discussion on the Union Budget 2014-15.
