Cant shrug off responsibility over Hafiz-Vaidik meet: Uddhav

Even as the Centre continues to face the heat from all quarters over Ved Pratap Vaidik's meeting with dreaded terrorist and mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Uddhav Thackeray, chief of Shiv Sena, an ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party, slammed the government. He said the government can't shrug off responsibility on this matter and that Vaidik, the journalist, should be tried for sedition. He also added that if the meeting had taken place during the Congress rule, the BJP would have sought an explanation.
