The death sentence for Askhay Thakur and Vinay Sharma were stayed today, while that of Mukesh Singh and Pawan Gupta had been stayed earlier. In effect the death sentence for all four convicts have been stayed. However, this is just a technicality, which means that the SC has agreed to hear their pleas. It is not a verdict.
